Hi Errol, Some of your problems may be due to missing fonts on your Linux installation. If the Windows program was written using "Guttman Stam" for example, and you don't have that font on your Linux machine, OOo will make a guess about which font to use, but there's no guarantee that it will guess correctly. Sometimes the font it chooses doesn't have Hebrew at all, so the text will be completely unintelligble. So the first thing I would do is check the fonts being used, and if necessary, install them on your Linux machine. You can test for this problem by modifying the document on Windows to use a Hebrew font that exists on both machines, open the document on Linux, and see if there's any improvement. Since you're using OOo 2.0.2, as you wrote in your Hebrew email, you also might check to see if there's any improvement in OOo 2.0.3. If you still have problems, it may be due to flaws in OpenOffice's MS filters. In that case, every problem must be examined seperately. You can report bugs at http://bugzilla.openoffice.org.il/. But please first check for missing fonts, and try 2.0.3. Alan errol wrote: >Hi >I have recently moved over to try and be a Linux only user. I have only two >problems to make the move complete.
