Maybe there are some people who have use for a spell checker that "goes by the Academia", but I find it useless. I need a spell checker that goes by accepted common usage. A usable spell checker is an essential feature. In my opinion, it should be a high priority to add it to Hebrew OpenOffice.org. I realize that it will take some work, due to copyright issues. But it is very important. > Unfortunately, when it comes to Hebrew > writing, there are many homographs. That is a problem with > all spell checkers. No, I think most people are quite satisfied with Word's spell checker. It can be done. > However, Openoffice has a feature that can help: word auto- > completion. I agree that this is a great feature. But it does not take the place of a spell checker. > OpenOffice does not come with a built in clipart library. > However, it is easy to add your own clipart to OpenOffice's > gallery... On Debian - and other platforms, I assume - OpenClipart automatically appears in the gallery when you install both the OpenOffice.org package and the OpenClipart package. It would be nice to offer something convenient to Windows users also.
