But does this really happen in 3.3 Release Candidates or just in the
DEV300 (i.e., after 3.3) code line?

I can't reproduce it with 3.3-RC4 on the platform you specified, and the
issue page http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=115456
appears to indicate this only applies to DEV300m92 and not to the OOO330
code line.
