This is not relevant. You also have a openoffice.org-ure package (which
is what our "ure" is)

People still canleave openoffice.org-ure there
when downgrading the rest. It's unlikely, yes, but can happen.

Yes, but why should we do it if you could fix the library itself properly?
Given you so much are after compatibility a ABI breakage even without SONAMe change
contradicts what you yourself stand for.
