Email subject encoding problem on Russian utf-8 OTRS 2.3.2 system

 Hi everybody,
 I have installed OTRS 2.3.2 and configured it using Russian with utf-8 
charset on FreeBSD 7.0-Release box.
I encoutered the problem that is very much like the one I found at 
[otrs-i18n] mailing list:

The body of system - generated letters looks fine in e - mail clients 
and in webmail frontend.
But in the  header some Russian symbols are lost.
 I'm using SMTP method for sending letters.
