Is the *entire* page blank, or only the content area?  What language are 
you set to use?  Can you try English to ensure that it is not a 
translation problem?

How was the database created?  You should be able to look at the 
database and see a number of coWiki tables.  Look in cowiki_node and you 
should see (at least) two records.  One of them will have is_dir==Y and 
parent_id==0, this is the root node.  The other will have 
parent_id==<node_id of the root record> and if you look at the content 
field, you should see the default text for a new wiki installation.

I'm a bit mystified because most errors cause coWiki to display an error 
screen.
