If one works on this, he/she might consider to make not only the order 
configurable, but also if a result is shown at all.

I for example set up a site for a company who does not want their 
employees (users) to be shown in a search result.
Someone else might not want comments to show in the results, for he/she 
might use comments but not use the site primarily as a community site.
