Propel Database backend

Hello list,

i am using liveuser already for some projects and i like it. For all my
new projects i use php5 and it's oop features. for database abstraction
i like to use propel (http://propel.phpdb.org/).
Because I don't want to use different database layers for my project and
liveuser, I want to develop a propel backend.
Any tips before I begin?
