Indeed, I wouldn't recommend that one. I really have no preference for 
moving the list to somewhere specific, and as I said earlier, this does 
not have to be an immediate decision.

Thanks to Klaus for offering a new list host so quickly, I'd like to 
hear some more opinions on moving the discussions back to 
PEAR-General/PEAR-DEV though before any decision.

IMHO, it would make sense. Having a closed list for developers made some 
limited kind of sense while Liveuser was in its infancy but now maybe it 
could benefit from a broader audience when it comes to development issues.

The fact that at some point the list became a place for asking end-user 
questions as well was more or less an accident in the first place ;-)
