Ok you are under the assumption that "liveuser_users" always exists. 
This is wrong. This table is just one possible auth container source 
that you can use (even multiple times inside another database or under 
different names in the same database). You would just as well just have 
an XML file, and LDAP directory some SOAP service etc ..
