In playing around with various drivers, it appears that whatever filter (in
my instance raw) needs to return something to the schedular that passes it
back to the iPad.  without that i suspect that the iPad keeps submitting
and locking up the scheduler.  using pxlcolor.ppd i haven't been able to
reproduce the hang yet, but I'll be load testing more tomorrow.
