You are right that https://www.cups.org/str.php?L4430 is about an issue
when raw printing a single file.
In fact my wording was inexact when I said that this bug might be the same.

However, I found out that the patch attached to that bug report also fixes
an issue with printing multiple files that I reported here:
https://github.com/Boomaga/boomaga/issues/29 (s. particularly the last
comment).

I cannot say whether it is the same, but it sounded pretty similar to me.
