ghostview does not display the pdf

Hello! 
I was very happy, when I found the Gimp-manual in german as pdf-file.
19 files and nearly 113mb unpacked. - finally i got it!
But when I want to read it, there are many mistakes (i believe in
every  one of those 19 files) and I don't know what is going wrong.
I tried to watch it with the acrobat-reader and it works without any
problems.
Can anybody help? Where is the problem? Did I made something wrong
with ghostscript oder ghostview? I just installed them, following the
instructions. With other pdfs I never got such mistakes...
For to see, I paste on of those mistakes as quote. If anybody can help
