Changing color of EPS files on the fly

This list seems pretty inactive, but perhaps some people are still subscribed.... I need to find a way to transform EPS files on the fly. Given a starting black-on-white logo, I need to be able to change the black to an arbitrary color. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? Command line tricks with gs/ps2ps/etc would be best, but using the API would be an option... Any feedback is much appreciated. - Jeff
