Update of bug #68499 (group groff):
Severity: 1 - Wish => 3 - Normal
Item Group: Feature change => Incorrect behaviour
_______________________________________________________
Follow-up Comment #1:
This exhibit:
$ printf '.EQ\napprox\n.EN\n' | ./eqn -TMathML
.do if !dEQ .ds EQ
.do if !dEN .ds EN
.EQ
<math><mtext>\(~=</mtext></math>
.EN
...is flagrantly bogus whether we refactor MathML output as proposed or not.
Revising "Severity" and "Item Group" accordingly.
