Aspect Mining

Hi All, I am working on Aspect Mining, and meanwhile going through the various works that have been done on Aspect Mining in the recent few years. In many of the papers I find that if a function be called from various parts of the program and a number of times, it may be considered a possible component of a scattered concern?or an Aspect. My question is that, it is highly possible that an Aspectual Components or Aspects may not be so cleanly available?as a separate function or subroutine. They may be available in the form of individual statements scattered throught the whole program. In that regard do we have anyone working on 'Statement Level Aspect Mining'?
