Large Financial company in NYC is looking for a Senior C++ developer for a fulltime, permanent position.
 
Skills Required:

The candidate must have 3+ years of programming in C/C++ under Solaris and Linux. 
Experience in development of distributed, multi threaded applications, knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, XML and other open source tools are needed. 
The candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently or within a team. 
The candidate must be able to follow set development procedures and provide proper design and support documentation for his/her projects. 
The candidate must have strong communication skills. 

 Pluses:  Experience in ACE, TAO, Perl, Doxygen, OpenSSL, Xerces, Zlib, CVS and basic 
understanding of financial data feeds is a plus.

Job Description:

Data Services B-Pipe Infrastructure team is seeking an 

experienced C++ Senior Software Engineer to join the development of its 
high performance low latency real time consolidated market data feed 
product. The candidate will be responsible for the full development cycle
of implementation and will involve development of new infrastructure 
components and enhancement of the existing components. The successful
applicant will have mastery C/C++ development on Solaris/Linux/Windows 
platforms and outstanding communication skills.
