Job Title: Senior Application Developer (Interactive TV Services Group)

Job Function:  Responsible for Developing New Technology for Interactive TV=
 Services=20

Primary Responsibilities:=20
As a senior member of an applications development team:
=B7         Assess needs, specify requirements, and lead the design and dev=
elopment of software tools to drive the Music Choice Interactive Audio and =
Video Channels
=B7         Develop and maintain applications using C/C++, Java, XML/HTML, =
SOAP, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, and other development technologies.
=B7         Assume the lead responsibility in the Software Development Life=
 Cycle (SDLC).
=B7         Analyze existing business processes, designing automation where=
 necessary.=20
=B7         Mentor other team members in software development practices.
=20
Process Management:
Achieve all of the above primary accountabilities by:
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting practices
            - Managing resources and relationships - internally and externa=
lly.
            - Consistently evaluating processes - recommending changes when=
 appropriate.
            - Communicating throughout organization.
- Initiating new, creative ideas.
- Having a willingness to be flexible - adapting to new paths.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects.
            - Being a team player and working cross-functionally.

 Qualifications:
=B7         Minimum 6-8 years developing application software.
=B7         Experience in Solaris, Linux & Windows environments.
=B7         C, C++, Java, Java Script, UNIX shell, TCP/IP XML/HTML are a mu=
st, SOAP, Perl, ORACLE, MySQL, and PHP are pluses.
=B7         Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.=20
=B7         Ability to translate business objectives into programming initi=
atives and requirements.
=B7         Strong project and resource management skills.=20
=B7         Excellent communication skills; ability to positively influence=
 people both internally and externally.
=B7         BS in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
