Description:
      Be a part of the team that is developing the next generation data integration system.
      As a member of the integration team, you will be responsible for developing deployment and 
      management applications for a critical-path parallel-processing data integration engine.
      You will also be responsible for building, modifying, and maintaining the third-party 
      library of open source components used in the engine. This position requires flexibility 
      and experience in writing C applications on multiple platforms including Windows, UNIX, 
      and Linux variants.

Responsibilities
    * Develop commercial applications used in the deployment environments of the core engine
    * Develop, maintain, and execute unit tests for components
    * Derive functional and design specifications from requirements
    * Coordinate review of specifications with appropriate project members
    * Build, modify, and maintain the third-party library of open source components used in the engine
    * Work effectively with third-party providers in problem resolution process
    * Diagnose and fix bugs in relevant components
    * Work effectively with other development team members on all aspects of the process including design, implementation, testing, and documentation

Requirements
    * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or other related discipline
    * 8 years of commercial software development experience
    * 6 years of C experience
    * 4 years of C experience on AIX, Solaris, or HP-UX
    * 4 years of experience with RDBMS or messaging/queueing technology (ex: DB2, Oracle, Teradata, MQSeries, TIBCO, etc.)
    * 4 years of experience with third-party open source toolkits such as OpenSSL, Curl, APR, etc..
    * Ability to articulate current status and issues
    * Ability to estimate project tasks for scheduling
    * Ability to take direction and provide appropriate feedback
    * Ability to work on a development team in an iterative and incremental process
    * Must be self starter with good communication & presentation skills in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities

Additional desired skills
    * Experience with products and technologies for Data Warehousing, ETL, Data Integration
    * Experience with 3rd-party library integration
