Job Description 

Engage with product and service marketing to understand unmet needs of global end users for system control, data aggregation, remote service, and machine control support products. Engineer and propose system designs for PC, server and mobile applications to meet identified needs. Translate to formal, clearly written, concise and testable, system and sub-system design requirements. Collaborate with cross functional, globally distributed internal and external teams to guide planning, execution and validation of globally competitive robust, sustainable and innovative system software products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced in providing software solutions for industrial process/machine control applications.
- Experienced in creating and managing software requirements to satisfy product marketing design guidelines. 
- Ability to engage cross functional, dispersed teams and iterate system designs to converge on optimal and agreed system design.
- Ability to design sustainable system & software architecture to meet diverse, sometimes conflicting needs. 
- Access capability of external partners and developers to deliver high quality software to schedule.
- Plan and ensure development is executed to agreed process and quality standard within time and cost commitment. 
- Adhere, advocate, and contribute to continuous improvement of software development process best practice and standard operating procedures. 
- Collaborate with SQA on development and execution of validation plan. 
- Collaborate with Program Manager and development team to develop credible development   schedule.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment covering new product development, customer issue resolution and change requests. 
- Have high energy level and be able to energize others. 
- Project management and leadership experience required. PM certification, a plus.
