Hi Kay,

Just like any other change in an organisation, you have to get someone 
up the chain to buy into the idea.  The team leader must be one of 
those, otherwise the adoption will be patchy at best.

I was very cynical about XP when I was first introduced to it (yet 
another doomed process I thought).  I then did a bit more digging and 
went to a conference and became a convert.

So get your team leader on board and let him/her sell it no up the line.
