Before we hand over the keys to some random Internet service, do we know who they are/do we trust them? I tried submitting a request to Yahoo! for a download of what I think is just my personal data for the group, but I'd really like to have a full export of the entire group's message contents in hand _before_ giving access to anyone who would have the privilege to destroy any data before we have a backup copy.
