We can only "Like" a message on the web interface, so it seems. I don't
know whether the list can notify someone by email of a "Like". I looked
briefly for something and didn't find it.

I have no problem with "+1", although I tend to interpret this as "I
agree", whereas I tend to interpret "Like" more broadly, so that it could
mean "Good question". I guess it depends on the context.

I don't know. I don't mind "+1" posts. If other people start to mind, then
we'll handle it together. Meantime, feel free to experiment with
"View/Reply Online" followed by "Like" as well as "+1" replies.
