OK.

I do grant the validity of the original concern, stated as a
non-absolute. I certainly hate being coerced; possibly even more if what
I'm coerced into turns out to be a good idea :-).

So, given that I currently suck at advocacy-without-coercion (an
assumption for conversational purposes), how do I improve?
