I have fough= t hard against that attempted form of management on occasion. I have also l= obbied somewhat unsuccessfully against it on behalf of others. Many people want to feel part of the outcome. They want to see something a= nd say, "That thing right there is better because of something I suggested = or chose to do." not just, "I just did what I was told and anybody could've= done it if they obeyed." I prefer that we reason together about the best way to achieve desired out= comes. People who tell others what to do may just be doing that too.
