postings due to a 2800-character limit on posting length.  This enviable
example of software engineering is brought to you by the geniuses at
InformIT, who, based on my experiences with them (they are the online arm
of my publisher, Addison-Wesley), are too stupid to work at the DMV and too
unstable to work at the Post office.  Actually, that's very unfair, and I
take it back.  I've had *much* more satisfactory experiences at both the
DMV and the Post Office than I have with the droids at InformIT.
