How about WireShark (http://www.wireshark.org/)? I'm wondering of you have any good method to test this. For example I'd like to test the TCP session creation delay and the delay to get an SMTP banner back. I'd like to create 1-10-100k connections and check how much time it took. I guess it's quite simple with nc or other simple command line tools from Linux, I just don't want to re-invent these tools :) Thanks, _______________________________________________ lb-l mailing list [email protected] http://vegan.net/mailman/listinfo/lb-l Searchable Archive: http://vegan.net/lb/archive http://lbdigest.com Load Balancing Digest http://lbwiki.com Load Balancing Wiki _______________________________________________ lb-l mailing list [email protected] http://vegan.net/mailman/listinfo/lb-l Searchable Archive: http://vegan.net/lb/archive http://lbdigest.com Load Balancing Digest http://lbwiki.com Load Balancing Wiki
