Nice Idea, but that would only work if the port communications are on independent processes and don't need to go to the same server.  I'm going to check that further and the newest firmware had a "service SIP" with could help with lowering the port numbers.

To get around the 8 ports limitation on the VIP you need can create
another VIRT with the same IP and a different virtual server number and
add the remaining 4. HTH.

We are setting up a new office Communicator in our network and it
requires a SLB for the Enterprise pool.

I was thinkin of yousing an old "Layer 2-7 Switch Module for IBM eServer
BladeCenter" witch I replaced a year back on or primary webcluster.

The problem I am haveing with the config is that the Enterprise pool
requires 12 ports but the SLB only allows for 8.

I was intending to do a non port loadbalancing but I am haveing prolems
configuring the box for that.

The ports I need are:

TCP 5060, TCP 5061, TCP 5065, TCP 5069, TCP 5071, TCP 5072, TCP 5073,
TCP 5074, TCP 8404, TCP 135, TCP 443 and TCP 444.

The problem I cant seem to get past is that even if I do "layr3 ena" I
still have to assign the "group 1" inside a virt 1/service (5060).  I
have confirme the SLB is functioning on the specified port 5060.

Is there any way to do this without ports?, Just a straigt IP
loadbalancing without any ports assigned?

I  know my firmware is old (20.2.2.7) and fully intend to update it but
first I like to know if this is possible.
