I have been in contact with Radware in the meantime and it looks like they are serious to keep the Alteon name in the Market. Some bullets: - 5 year support - New HW platform for 10Gig interfaces and Alteon trade name - New software version - Functionality from Radware is brought into the Alteon OS - Shorter support lines - Integration of the Alteon development team Like Simon said: let us see what the future bring and keep our fingers crossed. I did find the Nortel support was terrible unless you got through to the right engineer. The promised hardware platforms look good form radware so lets keep our fingers crossed. Cheers Simon.
