I've been looking at implementing Akamai's GTM service that does some automatic load balancing and failover if the datacenter is dead. I found that anything I was hosting was subject to single points of failure. Akamai's service was so cheap, I couldn't beat it with a custom solution. --will snow [email protected] Sr. Director, Web Engineering, Cloud Computing Sun Microsystems, Inc.
