Re: F5 D39 / BIGIP 1000 hardware fault

I second that.  A very wise man once told me that typically three things 
go wrong with computers:

Something isn't touching that's supposed to be touching
Something is touching that isn't supposed to be touching
Something got too hot. 

It definitely sounds like a storage issue (i.e. cable).  If it's not the 
cabling, it sounds like a CF/storage issue.
