VIP on LB hangs

Hi All,

I am new to LB and to this group, but I am reading for some time. I
need help in understand what has happen with my LB.

I have Alteon Application Switch 2208 with Software Version 23.0.2.
On the one side I have VIP and on the other I have 15 real servers. In
maintanance window I shut down all of my 15 real servers. Other
systems tried to connect to VIP, with failure of course (huge amount
of traffic). When I started my real servers, other systems had
problems with connections (1 of 10 tries was success). Traffic was
_very_ low. I was able to connect to service on all real servers from
LB, but when I tried to connect to VIP from LB it fails.

I made /boot/reset so 2nd LB took traffic. And everythik is working
right now, but pls explain behavior of LB.
