Agreed, but for the record, even though I work for F5, I am one of the most prolific iRule writers out there (you'll find my name on several popular iRules on DevCentral).  So I'm not giving you marketing speak, I'm giving you my personal experiences.  Over the last 3.5 years that I have worked for F5 I have almost certainly written and optimized more iRules than 99% of our customers out there.
