Indeed.  I have found that business systems that use software
often fail not because of the software but because of the amount
of business-process change required.  It is much easier to change
software than it is to get users to change their habits.  The
"release often" approach of agile methods is a far cry from
getting something into production.  Consider what happens when
you have a few thousand users at 311 sites in 120 countries using
different languages.  Rolling out something to them is a major
effort, and a lot more than putting some files on a server
somewhere.

As Jason points out, *stuff* is what businesses want and pay
for.  Software is just a part of it.
