RE: [AM] Why Traceability?

Agreed, there are no guarantees in life. It's just another tool and
anyone that thinks any tool solves all their problems is most likely
mistaken. But, in order to understand change there has to be some form
of traceability. You may be doing it manually and that may satisfy your
needs.

 I do not think traceability will guarantee that the impact of a change
will be gauged sufficiently. I believe it can only be done by looking at
the bigger picture - high level use cases.

Sure there are times when traceability has a role to play. These would
be enormous projects with very big teams. Most software development does
not happen that way.
