The purpose of a Daily Scrum is for the Development Tea= m to decide if they are going to achieve the Sprint Goal by the end of the = Sprint. They can do this with any means they see fit, but if they can=E2=80= =99t handle answering the optional three questions, how=E2=80=99s a BOT goi= ng to make much difference? Beyond this, why would anyone need to produce m= inutes from a Daily Scrum? Finally, the Daily Scrum is best held at the sa= me time and in the same =E2=80=9Cplace=E2=80=9D everyday. Even if held at d= ifferent times, and thus requiring special scheduling, why couldn=E2=80=99t= a member of the Development Team simply take responsibility, today, for pu= tting it on the schedule. Any Development Team that actually needed a BOT t= o manage a Daily Scrum has many more problems than a BOT could ever be prog= rammed to handle.
