One part I'm not so clear on: Suppose that when I have code I want to deploy, it must go through a review board first. 1. You have to schedule your review two weeks before the meeting you want to be reviewed in. 2. Your review must happen at least two weeks before deployment. At some level, this puts two 2-week delays in place. But what you do is do step 1 when you _think_ you're two weeks away. Usually you'll win the bet and be ready for review; occasionally you'll miss and take a month hit. How do you represent this in the value stream map?
