Cycle time is measured. Takt time is the desired cycle time -- it's an
arbitrary number, which is meant to represent the desired cycle time
based on working backwards from a desired end result.

Cycle time isn't derived from takt time.

Maybe, let me (to use your nonsense) "put this in pattern form" for you
-- maybe you'll understand:

Suppose you have a dinner party and you need to feed five guests.
It's currently 4:00 PM and they're showing up at 6:00 PM. That
means you have two hours in which to have dinner ready. That's 120
minutes. To cook a single entree, which cannot be cooked
simultaneously with any other entree because your kitchen is too
small, takes 30 minutes (THIS IS THE CYCLE TIME). However, 30*5
= 150 minutes -- more than the 120 minutes. In order to cook all 5
entrees in 120 minutes, they each need to cook in 24 minutes (THIS
    IS THE TAKT TIME).

Takt time is not any way derived from cycle time. Cycle time is not
derived from takt time. They are two seperate, and independent figures
and are simply used for comparison purposes.

I don't see how false beliefs and incorrect understandings are extremely
important in writing software.
