I'm even less of an expert - I don't have the CVS and 
other stuff installed yet, and I'm not sure how soon that's
going to happen, since I'm off to New Orleans next week,
and there's lots of stuff around here to get done first.

I suspect we may need two forks for Python - the
changes I've made to bring it up to date are quite
extensive, and I think getting a quick fix for the RExec
problem out is a priority.
