The version in CVS is (or was until very recently) the old code.  I've
started from scratch, building on the skeleton back-end.  My limited
understanding of the front-end code together with a zillion other
things, including exams and deadlines, has made progress on this
really slow.

Currently, the code doesn't work at all.  I've checked it in anyway,
and will try to find some time to work on it in the coming few days.
