Idea for backend maintainers: "reversal of roles"

It occurred to me that it could be interesting to allow backends to be
shipped outside the Anygui distribution and somehow register.  Why?  Well,
IMO the proper place for the Picogui backend is in Picogui's cli_python, and
the proper place for the GTK backend is in PyGTK and so on.  This could get
people more motivated (and more people motivated?) to maintain them.

Ok, perhaps this is absurd and perhaps it's not yet the time, but it's an
idea :-)
