Yes. The number isn't reall _that_ much higher than this. Some
back-ends are just pipe dreams at the moment (htmlgui), some are more
gimmicky than essential (e.g. textgui :) -- some are not gimmicky, but
still not _that_ central, due to their narrow appeal (e.g. beosgui).
Supporting java, wx, tk, qt, gtk and msw doesn't seem excessive to me.

Yes -- until we have something that actually works most of this is
really moot.
