Yeah, I'd like to see (relatively) native hooks to the cocoa gui, but 
I'm not sure how easy this is.  I've downloaded a couple of tools that 
are designed to interface directly with cocoa and bash scripts (or even 
python, IIRC), and might look into these.

Of course, they may be designed simply for creating stand-alone MacOSX 
apps, but we'll see.  Since all MacOSX installations newer than 10.2 
come with a new (2.3) python, I'm all for making a really easy 
interface for use, and if it happens to be anygui (see my coming 
comments on Greg's post(s)) then all the better.
