This is frankly only reasonable.  Especially for free accounts, GitHub is
certainly not being appropriately compensated for offering a 6 sigma
service.  This fact is also true of whatever service is currently being used
to host the psycopg2 website and repository - no one is making any
guarantees that that won't go away either.

This is also completely reasonable.  GitHub and services like it are not
protected as a matter of law as a common carrier, so they need to put a
clause into their agreement with you that effectively provides them the
necessary indemnity.  I'm curious as to how exactly you expect someone to
offer a BitBucket/GitHub/SourceForge-like service without a similar clause
in their terms.

I don't see any particular reason *to* move to GitHub, but I also wouldn't
see any problem with it - it's just a different thing.  As for the OP, they
didn't really provide any particularly good reason to make the move, and
imo, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
