Installation problem on WinXP...

I'm trying to run pysqlite-2.3.3.win32-py2.4.exe to install pysqlite on
Windows XP.  However, the installer is giving me an error message saying
"The instruction at xxxxxx referenced memory at xxxxxx. The memory could
not be read".  Could this be caused by an access rights problem?  I've
downloaded the installer a second time and tried the install again with the
same result.
