Our NYC client is seeking a Python / Django Front-End Web Developer with
experience displaying large amounts of data cleanly and intuitively.
Candidates should be self-starters, comfortable working as part of a team,
and thrive in an environment where effort and success are directly rewarded.




Highly compelling candidates will have prior experience with
JavaScript/jQuery, working with JSON APIs, and data visualization. 


Ideal Skills and Experience: 


-Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript(advanced hand-coding), jQuery,
Bootstrap, and AJAX 
-Photoshop (ability to follow creative direction and convert visual elements
into site components) 
-An eye for displaying large amounts of data cleanly and intuitively 
-Comfortable working with numerous languages and character sets 
-Working knowledge of API technologies (JSON/XML) and data streaming 
-Knowledge of best system security practices for application development 
-Ability to work in a team environment using Git 
-Strong problem solving skills 
-Comfortable working with Python, or any other object-oriented programming
language 


This is an on-site gig in NYC paying $75 per hour. The position is at least
40 hours a week for the next 12 months with a good possibility of extension.
