University in Montreal Canada www.mcgill.ca some comp sci classes accept 
assignments in either Python or C/C++ and there is at least one Prof. who 
insists on Python for assignments in all his courses. (This is information 
gleaned from posts to the McGill LUG; I'm in the philosophy dept., not comp 
sci.)"
