Goodbye CVS, hello Subversion

Hi all -- I've just converted the Optik CVS repository to Subversion,
and have made the first couple of commits.  So far it's only on my home
PC, but I'll probably move it to a public server (most likely
starship.python.net) once I've acquired sufficient Subversion-foo.

If you like to track the latest CVS commits, too bad: for the time
being, the source archive is accessible to no one but me.  If this
bothers you, please let me know, and I'll have more incentive to create
a public repository.

If you are one of the people with checkin privileges, please don't check
anything in to the CVS repository on SourceForge.  I haven't asked them
to remove or close the repository yet, but will eventually.

All I can say is, it sure is nice not to have to wait 5-10 sec for every
diff/status/checkin operation...
