I am running without blender bits.
SPE 0.7.5.c
Python 2.3.5
WxPython 2.6.1.2.pre
Linux Debian Etch 

I suspect it may be a wxpython problem, but when I close an editor window, 
the whole SPE crashes with a gdk error:
  (python:8282) Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_invalidate_rect: assertion 
"window != NULL" failed 


Thought you should know.  I am not on the list, but wanted to report this 
somewhere. Otherwise, spe is pretty awesome on linux. Good work.

This probably fixed in the latest version of SPE. Check out the spe
website for the latest deb package.
