Actually, after going through Mako templates in more
depth again just now, I think I'm sticking with Spyce.

Spyce is still a lot simpler and I really don't need
much more than what it offers.  In its current state,
Spyce actually offers more than vanilla PHP, imo, so
I wouldn't worry about it being a "dead project".
